Are you having trouble with technology? The library is planning to have some basic tech sessions. Andy McQuillen from G-R school will be here on Saturday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. to offer "how to use an ipad". This event is free and open to the public. Also, on Wednesday, January 29, high school Tyler Wrage will be here from 2:00 to 3:00 to help anyone needing troubleshooting with a tech device.

Val Ehlers did story time on January 14. Her theme was snowflakes, and the children who braved the cold heard a snowflake story, and got to make snowflake pictures. The next story time will be held on Tuesday, January 28 at 10:00 a.m. Terry Plocher will do the program.

Looking ahead: on Tuesday, February 11, Grundy Center author Sandra Noble will do a book talk at Westview. This will begin at 2:00. Sponsored by the library, the public is invited to attend.

New memorial books: The Food and Feasts of Jesus by Douglas Neel is in memory of Rod Slessor from Paul and Jan Ehrig. Everything I need to Know I Learned From a Little Golden Book by Diane Muldrow is also in memory of Rod from Janet Slessor. Peg Brandt memorials include Heavenly Humor for the Cat Lover's Soul and Heavenly Humor for the Dog Lover's Soul; Animals Welcome by Peg Kehret and A Hundred Horses by Sarah Lean. These were purchased with money given by Randy and Donna Evenson, Ruth Palmer and Allen and Cherie Eckhoff.

Young Adult: The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson.

Childrens: Commotion in the Ocean by Andrae Giles, Patti Cake and her New Doll by Patricia Reilly Giff, My Blue Bunny, Bubbit by Maggie Smith, Parrots Over Puerto Rico by Susan Roth and Mysterious Traveler by Mal Peet.
