The Hardin County Life Chain will hold it's annual event on Sunday, Oct. 7 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in front of the Hardin County Courthouse in Eldora. This date is National Life Chain Sunday and it is expected that about 1800 Life Chains will be forming throughout the United States and Canada. Iowa has 28 chains scheduled to be held.
Life Chains are peaceful witnesses reminding people that life is a gift from God from conception on. Life Chains also support life choices for those facing problem pregnancies and adoption as a loving option.
Life Chain participants are furnished a variety of signs with these messages and they will line the sidewalk along Highway 175 for as far as there are supporters.
This will be the 21st time a Life Chain has formed in Hardin County. More information can be had by contacting David Splett at 641-858-2464.
