Medhus graduates from Georgetown University

Lillian Medhus of Fremont, California, graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing: Nurse Midwifery & Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in December, 2017, from Georgetown University.

While pursuing her degree, Lillian served as the Student Representative to the Board of Directors for the American College of Nurse Midwives and traveled to Greece to work with Nurture Project International, serving Syrian women and infant refugees. Lillian was a Domestic Abuse Support Group Facilitator with the Afghan Coalition, coauthoring the book "Strong Together: A Domestic Violence Support Group Curriculum for Muslim Women," as well as serving the local Afghan community through YWAM with her husband, Bryant.

Lillian will continue her career at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, Minnesota.
