GRNT turned away by Denver, Hudson

TRAER - The Gladbrook-Reinbeck/North Tama wrestling team sustained a pair of North Iowa Cedar League defeats in double dual action here Thursday night.

The RebelHawks had one unbeaten wrestler on the night, as Jace Peterson posted a pair of wins at 132 pounds. He pinned Denver's Alex Krabbenhoft in 51 seconds and needed just 38 clicks to pin Hudson's Ethan Vogt.

Michael Krienert had the only other match win in GRNT's 70-9 loss to Class 1A No. 3 Denver.

Hudson topped the RebelHawks 51-21, with GRNT getting three match victories. In addition to Peterson's pin, Zade Podhajsky flattened Ivan Wilson in 1:53, and Zane Nelson got a 6-4 decision over Trey Jochumsen.
