Reinbeck Food Bank receives a check for $573.75 from proceeds from LSB Soup Supper.

Edna Dufel will be honored with a card shower on her 90th birthday.

Rev. Terry & Robyn Plocher celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Nov. 18.

Mr. & Mrs. Justin Boege are parents of a son born Oct. 15.

Mr. & Mrs. Steve Crozier are parents of a daughter born Nov. 2.

Mr. & Mrs. Eric Folkerts are parents of boy/girl twins born Nov. 13.

Donald Orr, 90, died Nov. 13 at Parkview Manor.

Mabel Privia, 73, Cedar Rapids, died Nov. 10 at her home.

Bonnie Moody, 69, died Nov. 10 at University of Iowa Hospital.

Shirley Wilson, 54, died Nov. 16.


Nov. 26, 1987

Reinbeck Chief of Police has tendered his resignation and will begin as Police Chief in Guttenberg, Iowa.

Mr. & Mrs. Larry Plaehn are parents of a son born Nov. 16.

Louise Siemens died Nov. 17 of a heart attack.

Mr. & Mrs. Dave Smoldt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 27.


FEB. 1, 1977

Pastor Richard Dayton of the First Baptist Church was ordained to the ministry.

Amoco Oil Co. will have an open house at the soil testing lab.

Mr. & Mrs. Emery Shutters are parents of a daughter born Nov. 24.

Linda Stirler & Dennis Romitti were married Nov. 19.

Mr. & Mrs. Art Meggers observed their 50th wedding anniversary.


NOV. 30, 1967

Reinbeckers go to the polls on Dec. 7 to vote on $450,000 bond issue for a school addition.

Dr. & Mrs. W.H. Verduyn to hold open house at their medical clinic on Dec. 2.

Glenn Sorensen, 42, implement dealer in Lincoln, has been found after 2 1/2 months. He disappeared Sept. 6 and is at Broadlawn Hospital in Des Moines and doesn't recognize his family.

Mr. & Mrs. Charles Gage, Jr. are parents of a son born Nov. 26.
