We're into the final week of preparations for the Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School musical, The Pajama Game. The plot is centered around a pajama factory in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, during the 1950s and it follows the workers as they try to get a 7 1/2-cent raise. This was a Broadway musical (based on a book) and was also a motion picture staring Doris Day and John Raitt. It features several energetic songs, such as Steam Heat and Hernando's Hideaway.

Director Greg Tessendorf says, "We're starting to have a lot of fun with it! There are more than enough actors to show off their talents." Also, advance tickets are available from any cast member and they will be at the door. We're looking forward to seeing you at one (or both) of the performances, which are on Friday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m.
