GRUNDY CENTER Providing financial support for the education of tomorrow's health care providers is the goal of the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Foundation Health Care Career Scholarship program, which has awarded its annual scholarships. Nine area students pursuing health care careers that include nursing, dietetics, and radiologic technology were selected as scholarship winners.

Scholarship recipients not pictured are Jenna Roeding and Bailea Evenson of Reinbeck, Katherine Shindelar of Eldora, and Zoe Johanns, formerly of Grundy Center. Each year $1,000 and $1,500 scholarships are made possible by the Sara Lee Yoder Estate, Irene A. Stout of Grundy Center, and the family of the late Don and Susie Kliebenstein. An annual scholarship luncheon and card party sponsored by the hospital Foundation also provides for a scholarship award.
