Don't miss out on the Grundy County Heritage Museum's annual Spring Event on Sunday, March 19th, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., special guest Harlen Persinger, a Grundy Center native, will be sharing the story of the Civil War Diary of James Miller, 1st Lieutenant of the 65th Illinois Infantry. Mr. Persinger will also be sharing about the period of time he, himself spent in the Vietnam War.
