NOV. 21, 1996

Gladbrook teachers file grievance with their district for violating the master contract in regard to bad weather.

Wayne Haskovev was one of 52 Buena Vista University students, inducted into the Iowa Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Chi, a national honor society.

Allen College, Waterloo, has set an all time record enrollment according to figures from the Registrar Office.

Matthew Kirk, 28, Grundy Center, dies in a traffic accident in Dallas Co.

Gordon "Bud" Rickert, 68, Hudson died Nov. 12 at Covenant Medical Center.

Mr. & Mrs. Dan Fogt are parents of a daughter born Oct. 21.

Don Palmer was honored on his 80th birthday.

Mr. & Mrs. Larry Gauger, Frewsburg, N.Y. are parents of a son born Nov. 18.

Patricia Bailey, 36, Reinbeck, remains in critical but stable condition with multiple fractures as a result of a car-truck accident.

Mr. & Mrs. Gary Lorenz are parents of a daughter born Nov. 24.

Mr. & Mrs. Melvin Volker, Hudson, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.

Newly formed organization, Historic Collection of Grundy County, have plans to begin restoration of former Morrison School and create a museum for storage and showing memorabilia from all over Grundy County.
