Miracle on Main comes to Reinbeck this Friday evening

Dear Santa, I want to do a selfie. Poop on #2! That would be a nice outfit to wear to Aunt Marthas! More soup, please! They sing like angels! THAT tree is sooo creative! I sure miss Grandma. I hope I win the door prize. This wine would go well with our dinner Sunday. I'm sure we can get frosting off your coat! Look what I made! WHOOAAAAA, they have MORE Legos than I do! That's my great-granddaughter on the right, That's really creative! Pretty horsies! Our team is gonna win! I'm wishing for & I know, I know & We're Rockin Around the Clock.

These and many more phrases will be uttered as the evening progresses Friday and a myriad of people head to Reinbeck for the communitys annual kick off to the holidays, Miracle on Main. The evening kicks off with Storytime at 4:30 p.m. at the Fire Station.

You can pick out a holiday outfit at the Style Show at 5 p.m. at Indulge. Fill your tummy with a warm bowl of soup, sponsored by LSB and served at the UCC, 5:00-6:30 p.m. Speaking of LSB, the Christmas Tree Walk will be open from 5-6 and 6:30-7 in the LSB lobby, with the presentation of the Memory Tree taking place at 6 p.m.

New this year for your auditory pleasure, Ally and Kylie Jean live in Bill Davis park, 5:30-7:30. For the discriminating palate, Wine Tastings will be held from 5-8 p.m. at Reinbeck Hardware, Wildflower and the Reinbeck Pharmacy and from 6-8 at Sweet Law, PLC.

Got kids? Drop a letter to Santa off in the mailbox at Bill Davis Park, visit with Santa from 5-8 at the Memorial Building-bring your own picture taking device-also at the Memorial Building while you wait will be children's games with prizes, children's crafts, Legos, Legos, Legos, cookie decorating and #sELFIES.

Need a gift? Vendors will be stationed at City Hall and the UCC from 6-8 p.m. Feeling lucky? Reindeer Bingo will be happening at Sweet's canopy from 6-8 p.m. Winner takes 1/2 the pot.

Trolley Rides will be available from 6-8 at the Covenant Clinic, hot chocolate can be found at the Fire Station from 6-8, 5th-8th Grade Beanbag Tourney will be happening in front of Cooley Sanitation.

Bobbie's Fancy Dancers will be showing off their holiday dancing skills at 6:30 p.m. at the GR Elementary School.

Make a wish and let it fly with a Wishing Lantern. They will be released at 8 p.m. in front of the Hair and Energy Clinic. Purchase prior to the release at The Hair and Energy Clinic.

Cap off the evening with the 5th-8th grade Dance and Fun Night, 8-10 p.m. at the GR Elementary, or if you don't meet that age requirement and do meet the Broad Street Brewery age requirement, test your knowledge and skills at the Game Show Night event, beginning at 8 p.m.
