Grundy are women’s connection luncheon at Oak Leaf Country Club Oct. 18

October 16, 2016
Reinbeck Courier

The Grundy Area Women's Connection will meet at Oak Leaf Country Club for a luncheon on October 18 at 12:30 PM.

All area women are invited to attend.

Carol LeBeau from Coronado, Calif. will be the special speaker. She was born in Davenport, Iowa and attended UNI. Carol retired after 34 years as a TV news anchor and reporter in the midwest. She has passion for health, physical, mental and spiritual. Currently she is working as a health advocate in San Diego where she is a highly sought-after inspirational speaker.

Carol talks about her life as an over-achiever, only to come to the realization that, while thrilling at the time, career success, awards and accolades don't last, and can't fill the emptiness that follows. She talks about finding the anchor that gave her the peace, contentment and the abundant life she was looking for.

Special Feature "Artistic Flower Judging" will be provided by Marti Bargman, Dike. Special music will be provided by Shirley Meester, Dike, and Rosie Beninga, Grundy Center.

Reservations are essential by October 14; call the phone captain in your area today! They are: Charlyne 319-345-2376; Lavonne (Reinbeck) 319-345-2344; Yvonne (Grundy) 319-824-6494; Pat (Hudson) 319-988-3544; Patsy (Gladbrook 641-473-2928; Carol A.
