Summer reading for kids in the 6th grade and is off to a good start. We have two more programs to be held at the Memorial Building this month: On Friday, June 24 at 2:00 Darrin Crow will give a presentation on Folk Tales and True Tales. On Wednesday, June 29 at 3:00 the Hanson Family Unicyclists and Jugglers will be entertaining.

These programs are free and open to the public. Also on Tuesdays at 1:00 we are doing "reading buddies" at the library at 1:00. Kids may come in at this time and read with adults. We had six children take part on the first week, and we had a good time. If you are interested in being a reading buddy, to listen to kids read, or read to kids; please contact us. We have a sign up sheet at the desk. You can do it once, or several times. Also, we are doing Friday activities at the library during the summer. The next activity will take place on Friday, July 1 at 2:00 p.m. The focus is "healthy living" There will be food bingo (with prizes), fun food relay races and prints using food.
