Spring break fun for children

The Reinbeck Library with be hosting five special events for children during Spring Break. Starting Friday, March 11 readers can stop in at the Reinbeck Library and pick up a Spring Break Bingo card. Take it home, complete a Bingo (straight line in any direction) and return the card by Monday, March 21 for a prize.

On Monday March 14 at 2:00 p.m. there will be a scavenger hunt. All elementary age children are welcome to come in and pick up the scavenger hunt paper. The sheet will be completed by finding various things in the library. Turn the completed form back in and win a prize. Younger children will need an adult to help them.

On Tuesday, March 15 at 10:00 a.m. there will be a Reader's Theater presentation of the book "The Library Dragon" and is appropriate for all ages. Come and see some of our own GR students perform.

On Wednesday, March 16 at 2:00 the library will host a Game Day. Bring your favorite board game and friends and enjoy an hour playing it upstairs. There will also be many board games here that children are welcome to play. All ages are welcome and adults are urged to attend with the children.

And on Thursday, March 17 at 10:00 we will celebrate St. Patrick's Day. All ages are welcome to a special Storytime celebration of St Patrick's Day. We will read and do crafts as well as enjoy special treats.

Finally on Friday, March 18 at 2:00 we will host a Craft Day. Several crafts will be available for elementary aged children to make with Easter and spring being the focus.

Please join us for any or all of the activities. No registration is required and all activities will have adult supervision.
