The 5K was sponsored by the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Foundation to support its Community Health Grant program. A free 1K walk also attracted ten warmly dressed participants. "Our intent is to encourage people to get out and move no matter what the weather for optimum health and wellness," says Crystal Petersen, GCMH nutrition and wellness manager. "The annual Wellness Fair attracted almost 200 people who are dedicated to learning about how to improve their health, and the outdoor activities were a great addition to this year's event." A detailed 5K winner's list and times may be found at www.grundycountyhospital.org.
