Time Out

December 25, 2015

December 27, 2015
With Coach Bailey , Reinbeck Courier

The Young Rebels finished up the first third of the season with a 2-2 record. We lost to Union and West Marshall and were victorious against South Hardin and BCLUW. In both of our losses the opponents skill level was higher than ours. The positive that I pull from this is we have room to improve our skills and close that gap as time goes on. These young ladies have a terrific up side and with hard work they will improve.

I thought in our two victories our style of play allowed us to win! We were able to take South Hardin and BCLUW out of their game plans and make them play our style of basketball. The Young Rebels are playing extremely hard, they are playing with passion for the game, they are believing in what we are trying to accomplish with our system, and most importantly, I think they are having fun! All the girls are playing and they are playing when it matters. The improvement from the first practice till now has been great to see and we are looking forward to finishing out the season strong!

The Young Rebels; (8th grade) Hannah Quackenbush, Brianna Strohbehn, Ella Murphy, Reagan Skovgard, Taylor Frischmeyer, Gracey Nagle, (7th grade) Belen Ellenberger, Saari Kuehl, Paige Creswell, Rachael Kauffman, Alyssa Morgan, Jaci Drew, Kortney Thran and Kyla Moore.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
