On Friday, November 6, at its Celebration of Community event in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa awarded a $10,000 grant to Reinbeck Child Care and Preschool for its Little Rebels Learning Center Addition project.

"The Little Rebel Learning Center is very excited to add to our outdoor learning center next spring," said Carrie Theesfeld, Director of Little Rebels Learning Center. "We are truly grateful for the support of so many in the Reinbeck community, as well as the Community Foundation to help make this a reality."

Due to the closing of a school in the Gladbrook-Reinbeck district, the preschool program and school age program were left without space to provide services. The grant will be used toward the building addition that allows for continuation of these services to the community, and meet an increased demand for daycare services.
