DENVER - Mitchel Siech ran for 171 yards and touchdowns on Denver's first three possessions, lifting the sixth-ranked Cyclones to a 21-7 victory over No. 4 Gladbrook-Reinbeck in a Class A District 4 showdown here Friday night.

Siech carried 44 times in the game and Denver (3-1, 1-0) had 67 running plays to just one pass attempt. Siech scored on runs of 6, 1 and 3 yards to cap three straight scoring drives to give the Cyclones a 21-0 halftime lead.

Eric Stoakes scored on a 60-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter to get the Rebels (2-2, 1-1) within 21-7, but that's all the offense G-R could muster. Stoakes had 130 yards on 16 carries, while quarterback Jake Schuman finished 3-for-16 for 41 yards with an interception.

Colton Dinsdale led the Rebels with 11.5 tackles, Josh Cooley had 11 and Dalton Schwartz 10.
