GLADBROOK - Colton Dinsdale racked up 227 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 carries as the featured back for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, which rattled off a 64-0 victory over BCLUW in Friday's Class A District 4 opener at 'The Pit.'

The fourth-ranked Rebels (2-1, 1-0) outgained the visiting Comets (1-2, 0-1) by a rate just shy of 7-to-1, racking up 430 yards to BCLUW's 63. Gladbrook-Reinbeck ran out to a 30-0 lead after the opening quarter, led 64-0 at the half and cruised to its 10th straight win in the series.

Dinsdale had touchdown runs of 3, 1, 53 and 89 yards and the Rebel defense tallied two touchdowns and a safety in a dominant victory. Thomas Mussig had a 54-yard interception return for a touchdown, Dalton Schwartz recovered a fumble in the end zone, and a BCLUW punt snap in the end zone went awry.

Walker Thede, Erik Knaack and Jake Mohlis each had an interception as the Rebels forced seven turnovers.

G-R quarterback Jake Schuman finished 4-for-6 passing for 88 yards and two touchdowns, hooking up with Knaack for a 20-yard scoring strike to account for the game's opening points. Schuman and Hunter Lott connected on a 10-yard TD pass to open the second quarter.
