Monica Pichelmann

Monica Lorraine Caroline (Lovell) Pichelmann was born on June 3, 1921 in Fredericksburg, Iowa to John and Emma (Krambeer) Brandt. She graduated from Fredericksburg High School in 1939. Monica Married James Lovell on January 9, 1944, he passed away on November 14, 1980. Ten years later she married Howard Pichelmann on October 13, 1990 at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Reinbeck. Howard passed away on January 5, 2009. Monica worked at Hinson Industries, Black's Department Store, Reinbeck Cleaners and she also babysat for many families. She loved cooking, baking, watching Iowa Hawkeye Men's basketball games, but most of all she loved her family. Monica was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Monica passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her husbands, two sisters: Ruth Maier and Gladys Parr; two brothers Willis Brandt and Paul Brandt, and an infant brother, Walter Brandt. Monica is survived by two sons: David (Wanda) Lovell of Fort Dodge, and Larry (Merna) Lovell of Waverly; her daughter Gail (Roland) Fink of Lincoln; six grandchildren: Mark Fink, Brenda Fink, Jeff Lovell, Ben Lovell, and Devon Lovell; a step grandchild: Crystal Gentry; a great-grandson Matthew Eilderts; a great granddaughter Ava Maher; two step great-grandchildren Carter and Camry Gentry; a sister-in-law Freda Brandt, many nieces and nephews and childhood friends: Holly Oswalt and Lugene Trelor.
