Charitable estate planning seminar to be held in Grundy Center

GRUNDY CENTER - Continuing education for professional advisors is being offered by the Grundy County Memorial Hospital Foundation, in conjunction with the Charitable Giving Resource Center of West Des Moines. The advanced educational session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, and is designed to support advisors' efforts to assist clients who desire charitable giving to be part of their estate plan. The intended audience is legal, tax, trust, life insurance and financial planning professionals.

The education session will be held at the hospital, 201 East J Avenue, Grundy Center. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. in the hospital's Education Room and the presentation concludes at noon. There is no charge to attend and professional credits have been applied for.

Walt Mozdzer CFP, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, and Wayne Johnson CSP, Certified Heritage Planner, from Syverson Strege & Company, West Des Moines, will be the presenters for the seminar. Reservations may be made by Friday, May 1 to Keely Harken at 319-824-4152 or
