Red Cross blood drive Monday, Dec. 29

December 28, 2014
Reinbeck Courier

The "Give Something that Means Something" holiday campaign is underway. Blood and platelet donors are already responding to the call to give this holiday season, but donations are still very much needed. Due to holiday activities, winter weather and seasonal illnesses, there are fewer blood donations during the winter holidays. You will have the opportunity to donate at the upcoming Red Cross Community Blood Drive in Reinbeck on Monday, December 29th, from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Memorial Building. Those who come out to give blood or platelets will receive a long-sleeve Red Cross T-shirt as a thank you for taking the time to donate. For an appointment, call either Irma Thede at 788-2388, or Mary Lou Moser at 345-2810. If you have family visiting, or a college student home for the holidays, encourage them to come with you and "give something that means something."
