Rose Koester & Andrew Chamra

Rose Koester and Andrew Chamra were united in marriage on July 26 at 4:30 p.m. The ceremony was held at Central Reformed Church in Oskaloosa with Rev. Case Van Kempen officiating. Sally Lyle and Paul Koester read scripture selections. Music was provided by Deb Wentzien, pianist and Kate Vonk, soloist.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Marcia Koester, of Gladbrook. The groom is the son of Roy and Lori Chamra, of Rose Hill. Grandparents are Arlene Green, Gerald and JoAnne Asher and Patricia Chamra.

Shannon Williams, served as maid of honor and bridesmaids were, Jenessa OKones, Kelsey Lohff, Abby Petersen and Jodi Flaherty. Personal attendants were Abby Johnson, Breanna Staker, Kara Fisher and Monica Madsen. Guest book attendants were Stephanie Carlson and Rachel Norby.

Joel Hicks, served as best man and groomsmen were, Logan Koester, Andy Guy, Tim Harned and Mike Dunn. Ushers were Cole Van Genderen, Andy Flaherty and Kent Petersen. Ring bearers were Colin Flaherty, Colton Flaherty and Grant Petersen.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance were held at Central College's Graham Center in Pella. Host and hostess were Luther and Gisele Pohlmann and Mark and Barb Chamra.

Following a honeymoon to Niagara Falls and New York City, the couple resides near Rose Hill. Rose is employed by Vermeer in Pella and Andy farms and sells Channel seed.
