Linda is also the author of the Vanished Towns of the Cedar Valley series, which includes, thus far, Bremer, Butler, Black Hawk, Linn and Cedar Counties. Chickasaw, Franklin and Grundy will be out in November. In the Lost series, she details named locations within each county that won't be found on most maps.

Linda decided to write about Prohibition when she discovered how many young people did not know anything about it. She researched and wrote about the eastern half of Iowa. Within that area, she was surprised to find out there were gun battles on the two lane highways, murders, and highjacking of cars. Everything that went on in the larger cities was going on in Iowa. Come and find out what went on in your area.

Linda is currently researching Buchanan, Floyd and Cerro Gordo for 2015, and she has begun researching the CCC camps for another book. She loves to speak to groups and can be reached at losttownsofiowa@gmail.com
