Republicans to host town hall meeting

July 27, 2014
Reinbeck Courier

Tamara Scott, State Director of Concerned Women for America will lead a town hall meeting on Common Core, educational standards reform program, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, from 7:00 p.m. 8:30 p.m., at Becks Sports Brewery 3295 University Ave in Waterloo.

The purpose of the town hall is for Iowans to gain knowledge about the Common Core education reform program being implemented into schools across the country and the possible action you can take to secure the best education for Iowa's children. Is it right or wrong for Iowa? Following the speakers presentation, a question and answer period will follow.

The town hall is free to the public and a reservation is not required.

Sponsored by Black Hawk County Republicans as part of their outreach program to provide informative and educational town hall meetings on issues important to Iowans.
