Cub Scout Pack 73 gets new Pinewood Derby track.

Reinbeck Volunteer Fire Dept. now has high speed Internet to track severe weather.

Severe weather hit local area last Friday afternoon causing some minor flooding and several cars in the ditch.

Mr. & Mrs. Brian Wallis of Reinbeck are parents of a daughter born April 5, 2004.

Sean Petty & Anna Mary Buskohl will be married on June 19 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waterloo.

Richard Boatman, former minister of Reinbeck's United Methodist Church received the Dr. of Ministry degree from the University of Dubuque.

Francis "Skee" Gutosky, 65, Grundy Center, died May 20 at Allen Hospital.

Gertrude Hoodjer, 80, Wellsburg, died from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

John Saul, 83, died May 11 at his home.

Jeremiah Moye, Reinbeck, receives DeKalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award.

Mr. & Mrs. Jim Petersen, Reinbeck, will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on June 14.

Julie Hummel & Michael Peterson were married April 23 at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Marion E. Kock, 86, Waterloo, formerly of Reinbeck, died May 31.

Leona Patterson 80, Dike, died June 4 at her home.

Mr. & Mrs. Chad Frahm, Pineland, Fla. are parents of a daughter born June 1.

Ryan Harms and Robert Kubik have been selected by the Reinbeck American Legion Action Post #242 to attend Boys State.

Kelly Shippy & Eric Folkerts, both of Waterloo, were married April 16.

Mr. & Mrs. Gordon Peters, Traer, are parents of a daughter born May 9.

Jan Conradi & William Helms were married May 19 in Galena, Ill.

Mr. & Mrs. Fred Keller will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on June 21.

Wanda Beenken & Daniel Siemens were married June 2.

Edwin Dinsdale, 74, Traer, died June 11.

UNI Panthers sign two Reinbeck Wrestlers-Jeff Billerbeck and Dave Coulter.

Black Hawk authorities raid Hudson farm and seize quantities of marijuana and amphetamines. They were William Kienitz and Robert Johnson all of Hudson.

Donald Martin is new pastor at Lincoln.

Nancy Soska was elected Grand Recorder at the Assembly of Rainbow for Girls in Mason City.

Bob Isenhower & Chuck Wildman purchased Kelly Hardware and Furniture with possession on June 29.

Art Koht replaced Ralph Utterback as school secretary.

Mr. & Mrs. John Murphy are parents of a daughter born June 2.

Amy Hooper and Stephen Towle were married on June 14.

Sandra McGuire, Dennison, Ohio and James Kock, Hudson, were married June 7.

Terri Saltz and Charles Sebbert were married June 9.
