REINBECK - Gladbrook-Reinbeck junior forward Nicole Adair tallied her fifth multi-goal game of the season, scoring four times and adding two assists as the Class 1A No. 14-ranked Rebels routed Decorah 9-2 on Thursday.
Adair's night ran her season totals to 24 goals, nine assists and 57 points. She ranks fourth in goals and second in points in the state, leading 1A in both.
Kyleah Dugan chipped in two goals and five helpers, doubling her assists total, and Taylor Weida scored twice and had an assist. Ellie Stoakes also scored a goal, her second of the year, as the Rebels (6-4) won for the fifth time in their last six outings.
Bailea Evenson registered 13 saves in net for G-R, handing Decorah (2-7) its fifth straight loss.
Both teams are in action today at the Waverly-Shell Rock Tournament. Gladbrook-Reinbeck opens up against 1A No. 5 Iowa City Regina (5-2), which has won five straight by an average of 6.6 goals.
