Two of the suggestions for the library in our recent survey were to make the children's books easier to find on the shelves, and to order the Harlequin Desire series. We rearranged the children's easy books, interfiling the AR books and paperbacks with the other books by author, and we are hoping this will make things easier in locating specific books. We are also now getting the Desire series.
Other new books this week include several purchased with memorial money for Bob Hite: Life in the Purple Wedge by Van Harden of WHO radio, Man Stuff by Josh Turner, Robert B. Parker's Cheap Shot by Ace Atkins and Walking on Water by Richard Paul Evans.
Also, the DVD: Downtown Abbey Season 4.
We also received a memorial book for Susan Wyatt by the Evening Book Club: Unlucky 13 by James Patterson.
Other new books include Field of Prey by John Sandford, Agreement to Love by Grundy Center author, Sandra Noble, Unexpected by Lori Foster, Last Licks by Claire Donally and Please Don't Tell by Elizabeth Adler.
Erica Thesing did a Little Critter story time on May 13. The last story time of the school year will be held on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:00. We are planning an outdoor party weather permitting. Watch for our summer reading program for children who were in the sixth grade and under this year.
