2004 Rebel Athletic Banquet cites outstanding athletes. Christine Weissenfluh was presented a plaque for her dedication and many hours as manager/statistician for football, wrestling and cross country teams.
Sean Williams and Shauna Woebbeking won the Verlyn Rysdam Memorial Award. Shauna Woebbeking was best offensive player and Allison Volkens was best defensive player.
Dylan Jans & Ian Wrage were named recipients of Dennis McGowan Wrestling Award. Kelly Dinsdale was named 2004 Volunteer of the Year Award.

Firemen were called to 2 minor fires over the week-end. A grass fire at Ralph Creswell and James Stephenson farm where a trash fire got out of control.
The 2 story brick bank bldg. in Dinsdale built in 1912 is being torn down.
Mrs. Glen McClure, 41, Reinbeck, died April 20.
Fred Wolthoff, 74, died April 15.

Clark Fleming's right arm became entangled in a feed mixer while doing chores at the Melvin Simonsen's farm east of Reinbeck. He was severely cut and torn.
Aviation Cadet Everett Wrage graduated from pre-flight training at Lakeland Air Force Base in Texas.
