Keith Oltrogge CPA of Denver, Iowa released an audit report on the City of Reinbeck, Iowa.
The City's receipts totaled $3,003,293 for the year ended June 30, 2013, a 6-7 percent increase from 2012. The receipts included $551,031 in property taxes, $389,339 from tax increment financing collections, $1,531,376 from charges for services, $98,810 from operating grants, contributions and restricted interest, $3,00l from unrestricted interest on investments, $209,349 from loan proceeds and $220,387 from other general receipts.
Disbursements for the year totaled $3,006.740, a 2 percent increase from the prior year, and included $324,334 for culture and recreation, $322,757 for debt service, and $275,899 for public works, Also, disbursements for business type activities totaled $1,548,345.
The increase in receipts is due primarily to loan proceeds of $209,349 received during the fiscal year.
