Josh Armstrong, a 2001 graduate of Reinbeck High School, was given the Blue Card in a Turning Blue Ceremony, which is a high honor for Infantry Soldiers.

Tyler Schick has been selected by the Action Post #242 American Legion to attend Boys State in Des Moines.

Grundy Co. Auditor Mary Schmidt, has announced she will seek re-election for Grundy Co. auditor.

Fire Dept. gets new hose tester which is necessary for preventative maintenance and safety.

Kristine Siems and Johnathan Richards were married Dec. 30 at the Church of the Nazarene.

Mr. & Mrs. Bill Koch will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on March 13.

Marie Willer, 86, Reinbeck, died at Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook.

Virginia Sinclair, died Feb. 22 in Ames.

Mr. & Mrs. Gary Thede attend Land O Lakes annual meeting held Feb. 22-25 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Lane Goors, West Des Moines, and Tonya Steensma, Johnston, were married Sept. 25 in Hollandale, Minn.
