Tri County Ag will have a meeting Wednesday, February 12th beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Conrad at the Conrad American Legion, 102 1/2 E. Center Street.
The program is titled "Crop Revenue Protection & Crop Marketing Strategies" and presented by Steve Johnson, ISU Extension Farm Management Specialist. Topics to be discussed include 2014 crop insurance, overview of the farm program, and new crop marketing strategies. In addition, an update will be provided on the Iowa Commodity Challenge; an online market simulation game provided statewide for learning how to use cash, futures and options contracts as crop marketing tools.
The public is invited to attend this meeting and there is a registration fee per person or per couple and payable at the door.
