Dike-New Hartford 64, Gladbrook-Reinbeck 21

WAVERLY - Class 2A No. 9 Dike-New Hartford (3-0) held the Rebels scoreless in the third quarter, putting the finishing touches on a 64-21 win in the NICL Holiday Classic.

Hayley Weber led Gladbrook-Reinbeck (0-2) with six points, while Nicole Adair and Amber Berendes added four apiece.


South Hardin 64, Gladbrook-Reinbeck 54

REINBECK - Kayla Prosser scored 26 points, Sarah Boomgarden had 18 and Claire Damon 14 as the South Hardin girls started fast and finished off Gladbrook-Reinbeck, 64-54, in Friday's NICL West Division opener.

The trio accounted for 58 of their team's 64 points.

Prosser shot 10-for-19 from the field and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line in her third straight 20-plus scoring game. She also led the Tigers (4-0, 1-0) with nine rebounds, and Damon made four 3-pointers.

Hanna Christopher had a team-leading 22 points for the Rebels, and Hayley Weber added 10.
