I wanted to be the first to get a letter off to you, just to check out your mailbox at the downtown city park in Reinbeck. I am including my address, even though I know you know where I live, maybe you could write back. I can't wait to mail my letter on November 15 when my mom takes me to the Annual Miracle on Main celebration. We are carefully planning our evening activities. Mom says she won't need to make dinner because we will start our evening at the Memorial Building with a soup supper sponsored by LSB. Their soups always taste like Grandma's and the desserts are really good too. I get two because Mom can't eat any since she's in Cheryl's exercise class!
After supper we are going to the UCC Church so I can see you, do some crafts and see Mr. Johnson's train. I am practicing being observant, so I can find everything that he has hidden.
I am going to cheer on my big sister and her middle school friends in the bags tournament. It takes a lot of energy to play and cheer, so we hope the people with the cookies are walking around that end of town.
My mom is looking forward to doing some shopping at the City Hall. She told me that there will be lots of venders selling things they make. She says there's a lot of talent in this town, so there will be many, many things to choose from. I'm hoping there will be treats there too.
My most favorite thing to do is ride the trolley. They have the most BEAUTIFUL horses pulling it. I could ride it all night. Mom said they are going to be picking us up at the Covenant Clinic.
Well, Santa, that's what I am going to be doing at Miracle on Main. I hope the weather is good and lots of other people come too. I am telling all my friends. Oh, I guess if you want to bring me a present, that would be good too. Whatever you think I need, I am not fussy. Hope the reindeer are doing good too.
