The Black Hawk Nighthawks 4-H Club held their regular meeting on Sunday, October 13th. Karly Wilhau led the Pledge of Allegiance. The roll call was, "Say something you think you will think you will be doing in 5 years."
The secretary's and treasurer's reports were given. Malissa reminded us to have our record books turned in by October 15th. She also shared a little about what goes into a record book. We signed up for presentations and for the Share the Fun skit. Our club members are selling Younkers Community Day books that can be used on November 15th and 16th. The club members that are available on November 14th are going to help Malissa set up the 4-H tree at Lincoln Savings Bank for Miracle on Main. 4-Her's need to be enrolled in 4-H by October 30th to qualify for the reduced fee; after that date, the fee will be higher. Clover kids are free, but they still have to enroll. We closed with the 4-H Pledge.
After the meeting, we made an assortment of ornaments (candy canes, Christmas trees, lanterns, and stars) for our Miracle on Main tree.
Our next meeting will be on Sunday, November 10th at 5:00 at the Reinbeck Elementary.
