Dear Editor,

Hello new city manager if you are there yet? Hopefully now Reinbeck can get on the bandwagon and work a TNR program for all their feral cats!

Please read below and educate yourself on the benefits! It costs less to Trap/Neuter/Return than it does to kill everything! It's cost effective and humane and will help immensely to control the population!

Several other cities in Iowa have realized the benefits! Heck, even Beaman, Iowa (Reinbeck's neighboring town) is on a TNR program! I know you're thinking, really? Beaman kicked Reinbeck's bootie on this? WOW! Get with it Reinbeck! City folk complain about the feral cats, but most fail to do anything about it. TNR is worldwide!

One idea we had was to tax each house $1.00, yes ONE DOLLAR a year to contribute to fixing feral cats. Town people should not complain about it as I paid THOUSANDS of dollars in school taxes and never had 1 kid, grandkid - nada, zero kids in Reinbeck schools, nor did I attend Reinbeck schools! So they can quite frankly get over it, or just allow so much in the budget for this. Some volunteers and veterinarians would be needed as well.

I no longer live in Reinbeck, but would certainly like to educate you on the benefits of TNR! Hopefully you can educate the council members of the benefits and how it is far more cost effective!

Should you need more information feel free to contact me!
