Come to the library between 11:00 and 12:30 on Monday, July 8, and meet Shawn Holloway, the new school superintendent. This is an informal meet and greet event.

Speaking of events, our final summer reading program was held on June 26. It was a presentation with live bats by Sharon Petersen, a school media specialist from Illinois. Children attending had the opportunity to pet a fruit bat and most of them did.

New books this week include: a large print edition of The Sweet Salt Air by Barbara Delinksy, purchased with memorial money for Susan Wyatt from Mike, Marci, Brett & Lauren Bengen and Steve and Pam Heithoff. We also have a book, Angels on Our Shoulders by World War II veteran, Edward Francis Heiberger, which is in memory of Don Dirks from Bob and Yvonne Blohm.
