502 Wartburg College students make winter/May term dean’s list

WAVERLY, Iowa - Wartburg College has recognized 502 students who made the 2013 Winter/May Term Dean's List.

The list cites students who earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above in at least five course credits during the two terms. Four of the five course credits must be graded with a traditional letter grade.

Wartburg students take four courses during Winter Term, which runs from January to April, and one course during the one-month May Term. May Term courses often involve travel and study abroad.

Wartburg College is a selective liberal arts college of the Lutheran church (ELCA), nationally recognized for community engagement. This year's enrollment totaled 1,747 students from 29 U.S. states and 43 countries.

Students placed on the Winter/May Term Dean's List include:

Gladbrook: Alyssa Gauthier, junior, daughter of Chad and Michele Gauthier.

Reinbeck: Scott Benson, senior, son of Randy and Rita Benson; Alexandra Holbach, junior, and Kayla Holbach, sophomore, daughters of Peter and Laurie Holbach.
