The Black Hawk Nighthawks 4-H Club held their regular monthly meeting on April 14th, and the roll call was "say something that is the color green".

On May 11th we will meet at the UCC church and then we will assist with the postal food drive. The club discussed what we can do with the skit we plan on performing for the Share the Fun at the fair. We needed ideas for the skit and for props and costumes. Our theme this year is Alien 4-H Fair. Next, we discussed the planned club trip to Adventureland. It was decided to have Malissa e-mail everyone to see if Friday, June 21st would work for the most members. The club will pay the admission for 4-H members. Adults are welcome to come, too, but will need to pay their own admission cost. Malissa reminded us about the Clover Kids with Liz on April 26th and the Photography workshop on April 28th. There is also one more FSQA training on April 27th for anyone who has not done it yet.

Kelly Brockett did an informative presentation about toasters. Malissa Martin gave us some tin foil and put us into groups and we had to build a boat that would hold as many pennies as possible.

Our next meeting will be a short meeting on Saturday, May 11th at 8:30 am before we help with the postal food drive. We will meet at the UCC Church.
