A new USAgain drop box is available for use. The drop box is located in the parking lot of Trunck's Country Foods located on hwy 175 in Reinbeck. USAgain is a green, for profit company committed to protecting the environment, conserving resources and creating green sector jobs through the collection of textiles for reuse and recycling. USAgain collects one million pounds of clothing each week. The clothing is then purchased by thrift store chains, graders and wholesalers, in many cases to be worn as secondhand clothing in the U.S. and other countries where people can't afford to buy new clothes. Non-reusable clothes are recycled into insulation, wiping rags, or are broken down to reclaim fiber. Deposits are not tax deductible.
What goes in the bin?
Men's, women's and kids' shoes, boots and clothing items. Accessories such as gloves, hats, bags, purses and belts. Household linens such as sheets, blankets, drapes and towels.
