The annual vintage music festival will take place on Sunday, April 7th, from 11:30 a.m., until 7:00 p.m. at the Memorial Building, 208 Broad Street, in Reinbeck, Iowa.
The vintage music festival is a fun and entertaining all-day event for music lovers of all ages, and includes a variety of good old down-home music, dancing, and plenty of food and drink.
Seven different bands will take the stage throughout the day, including Route 66, The Other Band, Uncle Chuck and the Imaginary Band, Jeanie Uncorked, Last Chance Band and Roger Miller & the Flying Armadillos. Roger will also be featuring students of the Jumpstart Academy-young musicians who are learning to play the steel guitar.
Food will be catered by Glenda Billerbeck of The Fountain on Main and The Indulge, and is both reasonably priced and delicious. The Legion bar will remain open throughout the event, with plenty of adult beverages, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic choices available for purchase.
This event is for everyone who enjoys listening, or dancing to a mix of good old-fashioned country music, classic rock & roll, folk music, and a variety of other traditional down-home music.
Admission is free, with a suggested free-will donation to help cover expenses. So gather your friends and family together and come on down to Reinbeck, Sunday April 7th for a fun-filled day of musical entertainment!
