Michele Knaack was here for story time on March 12. Kids attending enjoyed making rainbow pictures. The next story time will be held on Tuesday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. Beth Johans from the Grundy Hospital will do the program.

Valerie Prahl has her collection of decorated eggs in the library during the month of March. These eggs are from all over the world. Don't miss this spring time display!

New materials this week include two books by Iowa author Linda McCann; The Cedar Valley Road and Lost Black Hawk County: Vanished Towns of the Cedar Valley. We also have a new nonfiction audio book on CD: Killing Kennedy by Bill O'Reilly; and a lot of new books for children including, The Matchbox Diary by Paul Fleischman, Barbie I Can Be A Horse Rider, Splat the Cat: the Perfect Present for Mom & Dad by Rob Scotton, Seahorse Fry by Ruth Owen, A Baby Penguin Story by Martha Rustad, Egg to Penguin by Camilla Dela Bedoyere, The Avengers by Jeff Parker, Becoming Babe Ruth by Matt Tavares, The Price of Freedom: How One Town Stood up to Slavery by Judith Bloom Fradin, Violet Mackerel's Remarkable Recovery by Anna Branford, and Clementine and the Spring Trip by Sara Pennypacker.
