The Reinbeck Daycare will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday, March 23, 2 p.m. at Oak Leaf Country Club in Reinbeck. The daycare currently serves more than 50 families in or around the Reinbeck area and over 90 children. The daycare works to provide a service needed by many families to help keep families in the Reinbeck school system. The center provides child care for children from two weeks to 12 years, offering both full day and before and after school care. The daycare center has been has been at this location for almost 4 years since June of 2009.
The Reinbeck Daycare is operated as a non profit business. The goal is to provide the services necessary to help the Reinbeck community and school grow. The center not only provides child care, but also incorporates educational benefits.
Fundraising is done by the center to raise necessary funds for capital improvements and purchasing of necessary supplies for the rooms. The current fundraiser will go towards purchasing new cribs to adhere to safety standards. There is also a demand due to new infant enrollment in the center.
The basic operation of the center is operated by the income generated through childcare.
The fun night with bean bag tournament is being put on by parents and staff of the center. There will be a bean bag tournament and an adult fun night. This event is open to anyone in the community.
