March 11, 2013
Reinbeck Courier

The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa will award more than $200,000 in scholarships to area high school graduates this spring and some of those awards will be available to students in Grundy County. Specifically, the James "Jim" Zehr Memorial Scholarship is available to students from BCLUW High School. Additionally, the Dort and Ron Mastain Education Scholarship is available to students attending Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School.

Students are invited to visit the Community Foundation's website at www.cfneia.org to view available scholarships and complete the online application form.

Submission requirements include: online application form, essay, official transcript, and a letter of recommendation, all which need to be submitted online. Students should read the scholarship descriptions carefully to determine eligibility requirements and guidelines for each award. Students must visit the Community Foundation's website for instructions and to begin the application process.

For more information about scholarship opportunities, please contact Tom Wickersham, Program Director, at (319) 287-9106 or visit www.cfneia.org.
