Dr. Shannon Clark, '94 graduate of Palmer College in Davenport, joins the staff at Back & Neck Clinic.

Kate Wedmore, junior at G-R School has been chosen to represent G-R school to cheer at the Citrus Bowl in Fla.

Former Iran hostage, Katherine Koob, will speak at the Reinbeck Auxiliary Christmas dinner on Dec. 2.

Mr. & Mrs. Kevin Petersen are parents of a son born Nov. 7.

Barbara Brown, 87, Eldora, died Nov. 6 at Valley View Nursing Home in Eldora.

John C. Moore, 75, Reinbeck, died Nov. 6 at Covenant Medical Center.

Helen Kucera, 88, Toledo, died Nov. 7 in Bemidgi, Minn.

Maurell Pabst, 68, Grundy Center, died Nov. 7 at the Grundy Co. Memorial Hospital.

Joe Breakenridge will play under contract for the Sundsvall Dragons that is located 250 miles north of Stockholm, Sweden.

Mayor Lon Larsen acted to terminate the job of Police Chief Dennis Keeler following a hearing. Keeler was arrested on a Grundy Co. warrant charging him with forgery and two counts of tax evasion.

Bill Brinker, Hudson, escapes while operating and filling storage bins at Voorhies grain. He had several broken ribs and was transported to Covenant Medical Center where he is a patient.

Diane K. Schultz, 25, Grundy Center, died Nov. 13 at the Grundy Co. Hospital following a year of long illness.

Harold E. Williams, 67, Hudson, died Nov. 13 at Allen Hospital of a heart attack.

Mr. & Mrs. Jim Jensen, Des Moines, are parents of a daughter born Nov. 13.

Mr. Mrs. John Chapek of Lineville, Minn. are parents of a daughter born Nov. 13.

Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Widdel, Reinbeck, are parents of a daughter born Oct. 26.

Mr. & Mrs. Greg DeVries are parents of a daughter born Nov. 16.

Mr. & Mrs. Bill Lynch, Gladbrook, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at the Amvet Hall in Lincoln on Nov. 18.

Mr. & Mrs. Bill Hein will observe their 62nd wedding anniversary on Nov. 29.

Horace Emmert, Reinbeck area farmer, was taken by ambulance to Cedar Falls after sustaining a skull fracture while he was attempting to free a clogged picker-sheller at Kenneth Moye farm when he received a severe blow on the head.

Hattie Shield, 92, Gladbrook, died at Beverly Manor Nursing Home in Grundy Center.

James Westergaard, Sr. 66, Reinbeck, died Nov. 19 at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines.

Harold Ellis, 65, Grundy Center, died Nov. 10 of an acute coronary.

Grace Harte, 90, died at Beverly Manor in Grundy Center.

Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Nissen are parents of a son born Nov. 9 at Schoitz Hospital

in Waterloo.

Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Woehik, Gladbrook, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 3 with an open house at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook.

Ira Storey, 79, died Nov. 17.

Sylvan Ames of Hoeg & Ames, Lincoln, was elected president of the National Water Well Association.

Art Mulder, 33, Grundy Center, was injured by a farm feed grinder, receiving a fractured left shoulder and chest and head injuries.

Mr. & Mrs. Douglas Sloan, Cedar Rapids are parents of a son born Nov. 13.

Mr. & Mrs. Larry Sager are parents of a son born Nov. 17.
