Each year scholarships are awarded from more than 100 scholarship funds that have been created by generous donors with various charitable goals. Scholarships focus on academic achievement, financial need, and excellence in extra-curricular activities.

2013 scholarship information will be updated on the Community Foundation website at www.cfneia.org in November 2012. Scholarships are available to all graduates of accredited high schools in Black Hawk County and other locations served by the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa. Applications and instructions for applying must be retrieved from the Community Foundation website. Students should read the instructions carefully to determine eligibility requirements and guidelines for each scholarship. Deadlines for applying will be announced in November 2012.

For more information on obtaining scholarships through the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, or to learn more about establishing your own fund or giving to one of over 100 existing scholarship funds, contact Carolynn Sween, Program Director, at (319) 287-9106 or csween@cfneia.org. Students can also get application information from their high school guidance office this fall.
