Local artist Amy J. Manship.
Family: A 13 year old son.
History: I have been making jewelry as a hobby since 2005. The price of brands such as Silpada, Lia Sophia and Premiere were out of my 'single-mom' price range so it inspired me to try to duplicate the pieces at an affordable price. I was my only customer for a while, then my family and friends started to notice my pieces and ask me to make them some as well and away Accessories by AJ went! I also fix damaged or broken pieces and hold home based parties as cash n- carry. The pieces are never duplicated and are one of a kind! In my heart I want everyone to be able to have some fun pieces of jewelry to enjoy at an affordable price.
I recently moved to Reinbeck from Marshalltown and am enjoying the smaller town atmosphere! I look forward to the festival and hope I can hook people up with some 'Bling' that is an extension of their personality.
Inspiration: The love for fun and funky accessories that are affordable on a single mom budget!
Favorite colors: Blue and black and silver.
Favorite stones: I really enjoy them all.
Technique: Self taught, see it, then try it!
