A major component of the park is nearing completion as well as a general spruce up of the park and ball diamonds. The concession stand was assisted with grant money from the Black Hawk County Gaming Association and the Grundy County Foundation.
Several volunteers have contributed many hours to make this happen as well, including Dave and Vicki Roberts, Ray Rannfeldt, Jeff and Michelle Charley, Brad Evenson, Shawn Murphy, Dan Smoldt, Dennis Bolt and local Cub Scout pack 73. Also, a group of volunteers have begun the process of creating a disc golf course at Strohbehn park. Any assistance, volunteers or financial, will be appreciated.
