A potluck dinner is planned for Sunday, June 24 at 12:30 p.m. at the Morrison Museum. We will display some recent new books by Lynn Creswell and have time to visit with many families and local history items shown at the museum.
I noted that we had 125 people attend the year 2000, our 84th reunion, our second year at the new Museum, and that we averaged from 130 to 200 between our first official family picnic in 1916 and1950. Perhaps if we ask cousins to have their own local families come with them we can increase the low number of attendees.
Many of our family are getting physically weaker in our older age. If you are one of us, please come to our reunion and bring nothing for the potluck. I have a caterer, Trunck's Grocery, send some delicious broasted chicken.
