GILMAN - Class 2A No. 5 PCM defeated East Marshall 4-2 in the championship game of the East Marshall baseball tournament on Saturday.
Josh Wilson had two hits with a double for the Mustangs (11-4). Nick Long drove in a run. Sam Benzing took the loss on the hill, allowing four runs on four hits in three innings.
East Marshall won its opener, 9-8, against Hudson.
Wilson finished with four RBIs and had a double. Cole Harre and Lance Steward both had two hits. Steward also added two RBIs. Austin Briney and Nick Long combined to throw the final five innings without allowing an earned run. Briney got the win, holding Hudson to one hit over three innings.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck went 0-2 on the day after falling to PCM 2-0 and to Hudson 9-4.
Brady Billerbeck and Austyn Smith both had two RBIs for the Rebels (4-6) against Hudson.
