Former Reinbeck resident, Sharon Brubaker, does good at the Pinal County fair in Arizona entering wood carvings. She won one best of class, four first place, four second place, two third place and one participant ribbons.
The wood carvings are done in walnut, basswood, butternut and cottonwood bark from Montana.
Sharon also entered her quilting, two lap robes, three table runners and two placemats. She won one first place, two second place and two third place in quilting. She is taking twelve ribbons back to Minnesota. She is already working on projects for next year.
